Change Language for Classmates or Odnoklassniki on iPhone 6
Edited by Kara, Melissa Rae, Eng
Hello. You're watching VisiHow, and in this series of Odnoklassniki videos, I'm going to show you how to change the language of the OK application on an iPhone 6.
Let's unlock the phone to access our home screen.
Find and tap the orange icon with the picture of a person or "OK", depending on the perspective. It will take us to the News Feed, and currently, the application is in English. If we want to practice our Russian skills, or if we're a native speaker of any other language, we can choose one and change the whole application and all of the settings to our language.
To change the language, we need to summon the side menu. We can slide the screen across from left to right to access it.
Alternatively, we can tap the arrow in the upper left-hand corner of the screen to access the menu.
Scroll down in the menu to reach the "Settings" option with a gear icon next to it. Tap to open it.
Tap the second option, which is "Change language".
It will give us a choice of Russian, Ukrainian, Uzbek, Georgian, Kyrgyz, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Tajik and Turkish. These are mostly the languages of the former Soviet Union area, except for the Turkish language because Turkey has never been part of the Soviet Union. We can stay in English, or we can switch to another language.
Tap a language to select it. For example, we are going to select Russian.
As we can see, the top and bottom menus have changed to Russian.
Press the arrow at the top left-hand corner of the screen to go back to the News Feed.
The News Feed is a mixture of languages now. At the top of the page, it says "write a note" and "News Feed" in Russian, but the central area is still in English.
Tap on the menu again to change it back if necessary. Our profile name will remain the same as it was originally.
Scroll all the way down the find the "Settings" option. For those who don't understand the Russian language, the gear icon indicates the "Settings" option. Tap it to access the menu.
Tap the second option with the flag next to it. This is the "Change language" option. It will take us to the choice of languages.
Tap any language to select it. The phone may vibrate after changing the language.
Tap the Back arrow twice to go back to the menu.
Tap the "News Feed" icon at the bottom of the screen. Everything has changed into English. The menu, messages and the whole application is now in English.
Thank you for watching VisiHow. You just watched me show you how to change the language of the Odnoklassniki, or OK, application on an iPhone 6. Leave your questions in the section below, and I'll happily help you.
