To begin we need to unlock our phone by pressing the top right-hand side button

Swipe up one time

This brings us to the home screen
.
We should have Instagram already loaded on our home screen if we're using the application often. We can click that icon one time, or we can access Instagram from our "Apps" if Instagram is not an icon on our home screen.

"Apps" is on the bottom right-hand side of our home screen

It's a gray box with a bunch of white squares inside of it.

By pressing that one time it does open up all of the applications that we've loaded on our telephone

We can scroll to both the right and the left until we find our "Instagram" icon

The icon itself looks like a camera

We can enter "Instagram" by tapping on that icon one time.

This brings up the last screen we were viewing before we closed the application

In this case it is our profile.

From here what we can do is tap directly on our photo

That brings up a menu

We can either remove the current photo completely, take a new photo, or choose one from our library. We can import a photo from Facebook or Twitter if we have a Facebook account or a Twitter account.

Right now we want to choose a photo from our library

We'll select the third icon that says, "Choose from Library".

Now, we have a selection of recent images

We want to scroll through them until we find the image that we would like to add

Once we've located that from our gallery we can press on it directly.

It does ask us to adjust the image a little bit until we are satisfied with the way it appears

Once it looks good, and we are happy, we can press the blue square check mark box in the top right-hand corner
