Change icons and colors for Reminders Lists on your iPhone or iPad. With the release of iOS 13. users now have the option to edit the colors and icons for their reminders and lists. There are a total of 60 icons and 12 colors to use.

Color coding and allocating selected icons to your lists is an excellent way to add an extra layer of organization to your device. For example, having a specific color for individual lists or reminders makes it easier to recognize them when glancing. Giving your list a more relevant icon is a simple and effective way to prioritize your to-dos.

In the following Visi guide, we show how to edit the colors and icons for your reminders and lists on an iPhone or iPad. For this article, we used an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.2.

Open the Reminders app.

Tap Reminder under Lists.

Tap the horizontal ellipse menu in the upper right corner, then tap Name and Appearance.

Scroll down and tap one of the many icons available, then tap Done to save your changes.

You can also change colors and icons for a specific list from the all lists view

Tap Edit in the top right corner.

Select a new color and edit the name of your list.
