Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to change the font size for chats in WhatsApp on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

   We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

   There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

   Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the WhatsApp application

   There is a WhatsApp icon, which is a green speech bubble with a white telephone inside, and underneath it says "WhatsApp". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder.

   We now need to tap the menu icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   In this example, it says "Medium", which is the option currently selected. Underneath it says "Font size for chat screen". This will give us three options for our font size, "Small", "Medium" and "Large". This is very useful for people with bad eyes. It might be easier to have a smaller or larger text depending on our personal needs.

   We're going to press down on "Large". It will then say "Large" after "Font size" indicating that we have successfully changed the option.
