Hi, you're watching VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you how to change your distance units on the Google Maps application on an iPhone 6.
To begin, tap the home button to access the lock screen. You can also press the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone.
Swipe to the right to unlock the phone. If you have a pass-code enabled, enter your pass-code.
Tap on the Google Maps application. It should take you to the place you last searched for or it will show your current location.
Access the options menu by tapping on the icon located on the top left-hand corner.
Tap on settings and it will give you more detailed options.
Distance units is set to automatic. Although, you can change the distance units manually based on your location.
Changing your distance units depends on your preference and what you are most comfortable with. Once you have chosen your distance units it will have a check mark next to the one you have chosen.
Press the back arrow icon, located on the top left-hand corner, twice in order to get back to the main map.
