Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to change the grid size in the Application folder on the HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

   .

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and hold until the two lock icons appear at the bottom

   .

   Then swipe up. Once the phone has been unlocked, we need to enter the Application folder.

   We can enter this folder by pressing the center icon at the bottom of the screen

   .

   There are three lines of three white dots. This is the Application folder icon.

   The grid size is currently three horizontal lines with three applications in each line

   .

   We can change that to four applications in one horizontal line. The application icons are currently quite spaced out. This can be useful with more space between the individual icons, but we also have to scroll down more to see all of the apps.

   Press down on the word "Apps" at the top left corner of the screen

   This brings up three options. It does not matter which one of these options is active because they all have the same grid setting.

   We need to press the icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen

   There are three white dots in a vertical line. Pressing down on that will bring up a menu of options.

   We want to tap on the bottom option where it says "Grid size"

   This will bring up the two "Grid size" options.

   The top option, "3 x 4" has a blue circle

   .

   This means that option is highlighted and is the current option we are using.

   We have another option, "4 x 5"

   That circle is empty.

    If we press down on that circle across from "4 x 5", it will immediately change the grid size and take us out of that option

    Now, it shows four applications in a horizontal line

    There are also five lines, so we don't have to scroll down as far to see all of the apps. However, they are closer together, and this may cause problems for some people.

    To change the grid size back, press the three white dots in a vertical line again at the top right corner of the screen
