You're watching VisiHow. Today, we are going to show you how you can change the system language from English or any other language to Spanish on your Samsung Galaxy S5. To start with, press the lock button on the right-hand side of your phone. One press will bring you to your lock screen.
That's going to bring up your Notifications panel, where you'll find a white gear-shaped icon, which is your settings icon
.
Tapping that one time will bring up the Settings menu. Alternatively, if you'd rather access it a different way, you can simply press the Home button, which is the button on the bottom center of your phone. Press that one time.
Now that you've pressed it, you should be able to find the gear-shaped Settings icon
.
In my case, it's on the right-hand side of the phone in the middle of my icon list. However, you may have it somewhere else on your phone, in which case you'll need to look for it. Once you find it, give it a quick press.
As you can see from the top, we have Quick Settings, Network Connections, Connect and Share. So we'll continue scrolling until we find the System. Here we have the System Menu, now.
Under the System menu, we're specifically looking for Language and Input, which is represented by an A inside of a white square, which is also inside of a box
Each one of these is another language. Tapping that language will change your phone language into this particular language so be careful you don't accidentally tap anything. In our case, we're looking for Spanish, specifically the kind of Spanish they speak in Spain. We're going to tap that one time.

Method 2: Spanish to English
You're watching VisiHow. Today, we are going to show you how to change your system language from Spanish into English. To start with, press the lock screen button on your phone.
Steps
1
And then swipe across the phone, in my case, to open it
.
Or in your case, you may have to use a PIN or passcode or even a fingerprint depending on the lock screen method you've got set up.
And what we're going to do is go down here where it says "Menu" or you see this little checkerboard icon - we're going to tap that one time. That's for our applications.
And as you can see on my phone, I've got another gear-shaped icon which is also a Settings icon. Quick-press on that, and we're back in the Settings menu.
It may or may not appear in Spanish but you read the same way as in English and here you can see it says "Systema" so it's relatively close. But the one thing it doesn't change is this gray circle with the letter 'A' inside of it. That is our language icon. So let's tap that one time.
In the Language menu, what we're looking for is the very top option and you'll see languages here, however, in some cases you may have a language that you don't understand or you can't read. At any rate, let's tap that one time.
Anyone of these languages you tap is going to change the language of your phone and it's not going to ask you if you'd like to change it or not, it's simply going to change it so be very careful what you press here or you could end up needing another tutorial on how to change another language.
This concludes our tutorial on changing the language on your phone from Spanish back into English
