How many levels are there in Candy Crush, and how do I complete each level?

There are currently 2290 levels in Candy Crush Saga for you to complete, and many more to come as the developers update the game. To proceed to the next level, you will need to complete the level you are on, and get at least one star. At the beginning of each level, you are given an explanation of the challenge or level, as well as some hints. Each level also has specific points you can earn.

How can I gain points every level?

If you align three candies of the same color, they burst, and you earn points. When you align more than three candies in one line, you get extra points, so strategy is rewarded. The aim at every level is to get as many points as you can. The more points you get, the more stars you gain. You can get one, two, or three stars every level.

What are the available game modes in Candy Crush?

There are five game modes in Candy Crush Saga, and every mode has its different challenges.

   You need to earn one star at the end of the game to proceed. In this mode, the game board is covered with jellies behind the candies. You need to remove the jellies by matching candies above the jellies before you can complete the level.

Every level has its recipe, located on the side screen of the game board. It shows you how many ingredients you need to collect. If you run out of moves before you can deliver all ingredients, then you will fail the level.

What do the special candies do?

You need to match more than three candies at the same time to make a special candy. Make complex matches to create special types of candy. You can also match special candies to other special candies for surprise effects. Here are the effects of the special candies:

What is a Sugar Crush?

At the end of every level, if you have any remaining moves or performed well, you receive a bonus called Sugar Crush.

What are the lives for?

If you fail at some point on a level, you lose one life. You have five lives by default. Lives are replenished at a rate of one every half an hour.

Can I complete a level without using any charms and do I have to purchase charms every time?

Yes - you can complete levels without using any of the charms, and many people can complete all levels in the game even if they did not purchase any boosters or charms. Once you purchase boosters or charms, they are all yours, and you don't need to keep on buying them. You can only use them one at a time, though, and not all at the same time.

You have the option to activate and deactivate your booster or charms if you want to, except the charm of life, which is always on. You can enable and disable your boosters and charms during any level from the corner of the screen.

Remember that boosters have charges. Be wise about when you use your boosters or charms in order to succeed.

Will there be an update of the game?

Yes, the game's developers are constantly updating the game with fun new things, levels, and modes.

Candy Crush Saga has six different types and different colors of regular candies. These are the regular candies: Blue round candy, orange oval candy, red jelly candy, purple flower candy, green square candy and yellow pear shape candy

• Hand Booster. The purpose of this booster is to allow you to switch candies that do not match. It can also be bought anytime during the game with Facebook credits.
  
• Lollipop Hammer. The purpose of this booster is to allow you to remove any candy you want. Just pop the candy with the Lollipop hammer and it will be removed. It can also be bought using Facebook credits.
  
• Extra Moves. This option or booster will allow you to have five extra moves if you want to continue the game. This, too, can be bought with Facebook Credits.

The Yeti is available in Chapter 4, level 36-50.

The Yeti house is located at the top of your screen. If you've reached the correct chapter and levels and still can't see it, it is a bug (this is a common issue). Make sure that your game is updated. If all else fails, re-install the application itself.

What is the Jelly Fish Daily Booster?

Jelly Fish is one of the daily boosters in Candy Crush Saga. It is released when you have completed level 9. This booster adds Jelly Fish candies to the mix and can only be used in Jelly levels. It is activated by entering the game.

Jellyfish will eat the jelly in your current Candy Crush level. If you start a level with a jellyfish on, it will be consumed even if you don't complete the level. The jellyfish is only given once a day.
