Turning off beep when charge reaches 100%. Phone just started doing this a couple of weeks ago. GS7 Edge?

After my phone is plugged into charger, it recently started making a BEEP sound only when the charge reaches 100%. I've turned off system sounds and charging connection sound. Any ideas where to look next? Thanks for your help.

Look out for any recently added-installed apps with regard to battery status or enhancement or managing.

Does the green light (no longer red) indicate that I can unplug the charger? This is the phones first charge- it's been 4 hours?

See question above. The question above sums it up.

Yes, there are no particular recommendations or precautions. The battery will not deteriorate even if you use it with the red charge level straight from the box. However, if you intend to take out the battery and store it, then it is recommended to charge it to 40-70%.

Can I disable sounds associated with charging of the phone?

My Samsung Galaxy S7 periodically plays a short tone and displays a semicircular graphic on the screen near the power cable while charging. Is there a way to turn off the tone as it interferes with enjoyment of the phone when listening to music and podcasts.

Can I turn off the battery charging beep?

Please explain your problem in full detail - ever since the latest update, when plugging in the phone to charge, it makes an annoying beep every 5 seconds and the screen turns on and off... any way to stop it?

You can disable the beep by simply pulling down the notification window, tapping the sound icon to turn it off. More so, if you do want to disable system sounds while keeping all the other sounds on (for calls or text messages), then you just have to go to:

Settings >> Sounds >> Volume to turn off the "System Sounds" which produces that annoying beep when charging while also keeping all the other sounds enabled.

My battery was dead. I have been charging it for two hours and the five dots are still showing at 3/4 full. My phones fade back to black and I cannot access any functions?

If the phone turns itself off with a decent charge, then it is not the adapter, cable, charging source, charging port, or dirt in the connector
    .
It is either cold weather, which is not your case, or the battery or phone itself.

    Start with the battery
    .
Take the back cover off. If the battery is bulging, then remove it as quickly as possible and order a new one. See if the contacts of the battery touch the ones of the phone. You can also perform a trick by placing something firm under the battery lower side so that the battery is pushed into the phone contacts. Try to boot up after that.

Now, if that did not work, then preform a factory reset as described in our article

If the phone still does not charge or boot up, you may wish to use a new battery or just bring the phone to the service center, as it may be the motherboard of the device; and the repairs will eliminate both the battery and motherboard problems.
