Lock and Unlock Samsung Galaxy S5's Screen Using the Fingerprint Scanner

I only have one attempt remaining before my phone factory resets. I cannot for the life of me remember my pin. Is there anything I can do?

My phone is locked on the pin screen. Not sure how it got there because I did not set it to that. I can't get it unlocked, and I only have 1 attempt left. I do not want to lose my pictures so I am REALLY trying to avoid the Factory Reset.

You will not lose your information if you set up your Samsung account with a Google account username and password. On your lock screen you should see "Forgot pattern." Tap this and then when asked, enter your Google account user name and password. You will then go through the steps to rest your phone's pin. If you do not have a Google account associated with the phone then you will have no option but to perform a hard reset. This means that you will not be able to save any pictures that are on your cellphone internal memory. However you can save photos that are stored on your SD card if you remembered to save them there. To find out remove the SD card from the phone and view the files on your PC.

Is there anyway to export or retrieve a file that is saved as the wallpaper?

I took a picture with my Samsung Galaxy S5, made it my lock screen wallpaper, and then inadvertently deleted it. I would really like to have the photo, but unless I can get it off the lock screen it's gone. Thank you!
