Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to phone a location that is marked on the map in the Google Maps application on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and swipe up

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

   We need to open the applications folder

   .

   To do that, we need the icon at the bottom center of the screen. It looks like a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder. Press down on it, and it will open that folder.

   Once it's been opened, we need to find the Maps application, located here at the top of the screen

   There is an icon of a map with a red pin in it. Underneath, it says the word, "Maps". Press down on it to open the Google Maps application.

   Now, we will learn how to phone a location that is marked on the map

   .

   We'll be able to see a number of points on this map. Such as here, we have Tbilisi Zoo. There are schools, and different symbols to tell us that there are certain things near our location. If we find one that we'd like to call, we can call them directly from this application without having to write the number down, or moving to the call section of the phone. As we can see here, there is an ATM machine. It says, "Bank Republic Societe Generale Group ATM". If we press down on a symbol, its going to put the pin in it. At the bottom it will say the name.

   Now, we can swipe this area up

   .

   Press down at the bottom, and swipe up. It will bring up further information about the pin that we've just selected. Now we can see the name, address, and other information.

   What we need is this box with the "CALL" function

   .

   We can directly call this bank or branch of the bank. It says the word "CALL" here with the icon of a phone. It's all blue. If we want to call them, press down on the word "CALL". It's going to say, "Complete action using Phone." We may or may not see this, depending on what we've selected in the past. We can actually use different applications to make this call.
