    In the first cell, type the month and date of one's birthday

    Let's use cell "B1" and the date format. The keyboard shortcut for typing in today's date is "Command" + ":" on the Mac or "Ctrl +" ":" on the PC.

    Click the third cell

    Let's use cell "C1" and type the following formula: "=datedif(A1,B1,"y")". In this formula, "A1" is the initial-date cell, "B2" is the end-date cell, and "y" is the year.
