The urgency of the situation cannot wait for you take the phone to a qualified technician to have it checked and unlocked. Worry no more as we have outlined the ways to "take a peek" on your phone, even if it has been screen locked. Some of the methods here require perfect timing, so you may need to practice before you can do them swiftly. Also, please take note that these were specifically tested on iOS versions 4.1, 6.1 and 6.1.3. It may not work on other either older or newer versions.

- 1On your iPhone screen, tap on the 'Emergency Call' button located on the lower right portion of the screen.
- 2Tap on the 'Call' button (Green icon on the lower right of the screen) and quickly tap on the Lock button.Type three # (###).
- 3Make sure to quickly do what you need to do, as the screen will lock you out again if there is inactivity for a few seconds.You should be able to go to the Address book where you can send SMS, MMS, emails and make phone calls.
- 4Practice and timing are required to do this successfully.

- 1On your iPhone phone screen, tap on the 'Emergency Call' button located on the lower right portion of the screen.
- 2When the power off slide screen shows, tap 'Cancel'.Hold the 'Power' button for a few seconds until the power off slide screen shows.
- 3Make sure you tap on 'END CALL' before the call connects. If it does connect to the emergency number dialed, the agency may be falsely be alarmed of an emergency situation.Dial any three-digit emergency call number (911, 112, etc.).
- 4Press the 'Power' button to put your iPhone on standby mode.
- 5Press the 'Power' button again to turn your iPhone on.
- 6Make sure to tap on 'Emergency Call' button immediately before your iPhone shows the 'Power Off' slider screen. To do this, hold 'Power' button for about three seconds, and immediately tap on 'Emergency Call'. This does not usually work on the first attempt. However, with practice, you will get the hang of it. Make sure that you keep on pressing and holding the 'Power' button during the process.This is a very crucial step.
- 7While still holding the 'Power' button, you will be able to view you phone's contacts details including history.
- 8You can make calls and view or edit contacts using this trick.

- Make sure do not successfully connect the emergency numbers if you do not want them to check on you.

- 1Turn off your iPhone.
- 2Turn on your iPhone.
- 3This can be done by pressing and holding down the 'Home' button before navigating to the pass-code screen.Immediately activate the 'Voice Dial Command'.
- 4Say, "Call Mom".Give a voice command.
- 5A small paperclip or any small wire can help you with this.When the phone starts to dial "Mom", immediately eject the SIM card from the SIM slot located on the right side of the phone.
- 6You should be able to view your contacts but won't be able to send SMS, MMS or make calls, as the phone doesn't have a SIM.
Notes
- Always keep in mind; timing is the key.
- Some of these require a few, or in my cases, a lot of trial and error. Keep on trying until you get the timing perfectly
- This should be used on your phone only, please do not use this to exploit or view classified information on other people's phone. Such act is not tolerable by the government.
