Build Your First Deck in Hearthstone Heroes of Warcraft on iPhone 6
Edited by Grimm, Rushell, Eng, Lar and 2 others
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In today's tutorial, we are going to be explaining how to build your own deck in the online Hearthstone: Heroes of World of Warcraft game when using an iPhone 6.
If you don't have the game open, you should find the Hearthstone icon on your Home screen. Give it a single press to open the game.
What we need to do first is to tap on My Collection at the bottom right corner of the main menu of the game.
At the Collection screen, you will see that you can craft a deck of your very own. Some cards are specific to the Druid.
If we go to the next page by tapping the right facing arrow, we'll see cards specific to the Hunter.
The next page shows cards specific to the Mage.
You can keep turning the page to see more characters and their particular cards. Each one has cards that are more or less specific to them, depending on which character you're playing and what they have. The Neutral cards are cards that any class can play. It doesn't mean that anyone, in particular, has to or doesn't have to use them. If you watched our tutorial on opening packs, you would notice that we got extremely lucky and got ourselves a legendary card. The rarity of those cards is out of this world.
All of the neutral cards are different cards that you can use, and they are playable with your existing characters or within your existing deck. You don't have to choose all of the other different pieces. This is the specific rare card that I mentioned earlier, the Blingtron 3000. You can see that is a pretty good card.
We have quite a few pretty cool cards. The Venture Co. Mercenary another fairly good one.
To grab the new deck, tap on New Deck on the upper right corner of the screen.
The first thing we need to decide is who we want the new deck to be for. You can choose this new deck to be for the Mage, the Shaman or the Warrior. It depends. Let's pick Warrior.
Tap on Choose at the bottom of the little screen that pops up to continue.
Our Warrior already has some decks. If you want, you can tap on Deck Helper on the right side, or you can create a deck yourself.
You have up to 30 cards to choose from. To create them yourself, tap the card to look closer at it. If you decide to use that card, just hold and drag it to the right side under Deck Helper. This will put the card in our deck.
If we change our mind, we can just drag the card back over to the left side to return it to its original location.
I can't add cards from another class, only from the Warrior or the Neutral Class.
I can go through and choose all the cards I want for myself. The number below the card is the number of cards that will go into the deck. If it says x2, two cards will go into the deck.
Some of these cards are better than others. Let's look at the Cruel Taskmaster card. You'll see that there is only one of them. In a big deck, you can have lots of cards, and it's nice to have sets of two.
Alternatively, I can use the Deck Helper.
Tapping on Deck Helper will let me know that the dwarf looking character will help us with forming the deck.
He brings up his card, and he says, "What would you like to do? What cards would you like to have?"
Personally, the card in the middle is a fantastic card. Execute is a great card, so let's tap on that to add it to our deck.
Now, let's start by adding some class-specific cards, which we just talked about.
We're going to add Execute, so tap on that.
Charge is a really good card as well. It allows you to give a minion a +2 to attack and to charge, which means it's going to immediately attack. You can summon a very powerful card, and then you can play this Charge ability, making your first card even more powerful than it was.
Now, when you have four points, you give your hero +4 to attack.
Then you get this sword card, which gives you a +3, so you have total of +7 for attack.
So you want to choose the Heroic Strike card.
You can play the Heroic Strike three times if you want, giving yourself +4, +4.
Now let's pick the Charge card.
Let's get another Fiery War Axe.
Let's pick Warsong Commander to give our Charge.
We can choose that same card again.
Now, we need to make sure we have some cheap cards to play early on.
Battle cry is a great card.
Here's Battle cry again on this card.
We're not going to worry about Spell Damage +1 because we're not that kind of player.
The Stormpike Commander is not a bad card.
Both the 9 and 5 and the 7 and 7 are very powerful cards, but the first one with 6 and 6 is probably the best.
Continue going through each set of three cards, choosing the ones you want from each set. Eventually, the dwarf will pop up with a message saying, "This deck is looking good. Maybe some of these cards would help you finish it off?" You can choose a few more cards.
When you've chosen all of your cards, the dwarf's message will appear as "That deck looks solid! Take her out for a spin." We're good to go.
Now, we can tap on the Done button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Now, we have a deck for our Warrior. It is our Custom Warrior deck.
Let's tap on the arrow to go back.
When we play the Warrior, we can use our Custom Warrior deck. This concludes our tutorial on how to set up a custom deck in the Hearthstone: Heroes of World of Warcraft game on your iPhone 6. You can view our next tutorial on how to actually play that deck and unlock the rest of your heroes, so you can enter the arena if you watch that tutorial. Then you will see this deck in action. Thanks a lot for watching VisiHow. We hope that this tutorial has been helpful for you. We look forward to seeing your questions, comments and thoughts in the section below.

Questions and Answers
Can't drag cards to make a custom deck?
To make a custom deck, I can't drag cards over ... It only allows me to use deck helper, and I don't want to use that. I prefer making a deck be selecting the cards that I want. Why can't I just drag cards over to make my deck? Very frustrating!
It is a known problem in the game, and it can be fixed at the moment by quitting the game client and relaunching it. You can quit the game client by double-pressing the home button and swiping the game window upward.
I'm a new player at Hearthstone. Playing on iOS doesn't show me "Create deck" in my collection. Should I have to unlock all of the 9 classes before importing/creating new decks?. Thank you by advance. Screenshot displays "New deck" but not within my game (iOS/beginner account). I have tried: Importing deck codes inner Hearthstone doesn't prompt me a new deck. I think it was caused by: Because I didn't unlock all classes or having an issue
