You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how to browse "People You May Know" on the LinkedIn application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing either the Lock button or the Home button
.
2
Then swipe to enter our passcode or use the fingerprint scanner
.
3
It has a blue background, with the word "in" in white lettering. Tap on it, and it will take us to our home page, which is full of different articles and posts from our contacts.
4
We need to go to the "in" icon in the top left-hand corner
.
That will bring up a new window.
5
Underneath our profile, is a section called, "People You May Know"
.
It is indicated by a head and shoulders to the left. Tap on that, and wait for it to load a list of different people it thinks we'll know. The list will be based on our education or our work experience.
6
We can scroll through here
.
It will show the person's name, with a small amount of information about them. Then, we can decide if we want to add them.
7
To do that, we'd press the icon on the right-hand side, with the head and shoulders next to a plus
.
8
If we don't want them to appear on this list, then we press the "x" next to that
.
9
If we want to find out more about them, we can view someone's profile as well, by tapping on their name
.
10
Go back by pressing the top arrow in the top left corner
.
Then press "in", to bring up our slide out menu.
11
Tap on "Home" to get back to the page where we started
.
12
This is a VisiHow video, and I've just shown you how to browse "People You May Know" on the iPhone 6
.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them to the section below. We'll do our best to get back to you when we can.
