Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to browse new releases using the Spotify application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode. As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find and tap on the Spotify application, which is a black and green icon that has a green circle in the center with three curved black lines inside. This will take us to our browse page which is kind of like the home page for Spotify which is offering us everything we're interested in with Spotify. It also might take us to the sign-up/log-in page, in which case we can refer to the article on how to sign-up or log-in using Spotify on the iPhone 6.
Tap on "New Releases" which is the middle option, indicated by a calendar symbol on the left-hand side. As we can see, we have these options at the top that we can scroll through different playlists and the options we're looking for are underneath.
Find and tap an album of interest. In this example, we'll choose The Rolling Stones. This will take us to the album, and we can see this one was released on the 23rd of April in 1971 but has only just been added onto Spotify today.
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to go back.
Tap on "New Music Today" at the top. This will bring us to a general playlist of new music on Spotify.
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner twice to go back to the page where we started.
Now you know how to browse new releases using the Spotify application on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments please enter them in the section below. Thank you for using VisiHow, goodbye.
