You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to browse channels on the Flipagram application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing either the Lock button on the right-hand side or the Home button at the bottom.
Swipe across the screen to enter a passcode.
Alternatively, just press a finger to the Home button to enter the phone using the fingerprint scanner.
Find the "Flipagram" icon, which is a red and white with a triangle in the middle.
Tap the icon once to open up the app.
It automatically takes us to our dashboard, which is like the home page for Flipagram.
However, we need the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen. It's the second icon from the left.
Tapping on that magnifying glass will give us the option to "Explore".
We can search by typing something in the bar at the top. We demonstrate how to do this in another video on this website.
We can also browse various "Channels" by scrolling on the screen.
There are icons on the left-hand side to show what the channel is about, and there is the channel name listed as well. They're not in any particular order, but are probably the most categories.
"Trending Hashtags" are listed at the bottom as well.
If we tapped on "Art & Design", for example, it will load all of the posts which are "Featured" in "Art & Design".
Also at the top of the channel screen, it shows us some typical hashtags for this particular category.
Then we can scroll down to see the "Featured" posts. They're listed in the same format as posts on the dashboard as well.
If we'd like, we can also tap on "Trending" to see the most popular or most recent posts at that moment.
"Featured" posts are the posts that are circulating the most.
We can also click on one of the hashtags at the top. We've clicked on "#draw".
Then it will load up everything to do with the hashtag "#draw" in a new window.
Go back by pressing the arrow at the top left-hand corner.
Press the back arrow again.
We can continue browsing as before.
Maybe we're interested in "Adventure".
We'll see that the "Adventure" channel brings up different hashtags.
It also lists several different posts related to "Adventure".
We can view the "Trending" posts here as well.
We can also tap on a hashtag to go to something more specific, just as we did before.
Press the arrow in the top left corner to go back.
Press the arrow again to go back to the "Explore" page.
We can either continue browsing or just press the the house icon in the bottom left-hand corner to go back to the dashboard where we began.
This is a VisiHow video, and we've just shown you how to browse channels on the Flipagram application on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them to the section below, and we'll do our best to get back to you.
