To begin, the phone needs to be unlocked

This can be done by pressing the lock or home button.

Swipe to enter your passcode or use the fingerprint scanner

Find the SongFlip icon which is this red one here with the white headphones

Tap once to open up the app.

The homepage, which is technically the page we're looking for, has the option to search and then also a list of all the genres we might be interested in
.
We can scroll down and find a category. In this case, let's go for jazz.

Once we've pressed on that, we'll be taken to a page with songs of that genre
.
If we see a check mark next to a song, this means that it's been added to our playlist. Go back by pressing the triangle in the top-left corner and we can continue browsing different genres.
