Block or Report a Vine in Vine on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Crystal, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how you can block or report someone's vine on the Vine application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button or home button
Swipe and enter the passcode, or just use the fingerprint scanner.
Find and tap the Vine icon. It's blue with a white 'V'. It takes us to the home page, which is indicated by the house in the bottom left-hand corner. Here we will have different things listed, depending on which categories we follow. Refer to another video on how to browse and follow different categories.
For now, find the vine that needs to be reported. We'll see the posters information, how long ago they posted it, how many loops, the title and of course, the Vine itself. Underneath that, we have 4 symbols.
Tap on the 3 horizontal dots on the very right-hand side.
We have the option to block or report, or cancel. We'll tap "Block or report".
We can choose to block the user so that nothing that they post ends up on our page, or we can file a report.
We need to select the reason that we're reporting it. We can also say that we're not interested so that it won't show up on our page, but we don't have to block the user.
Tap on the red circle with the white check mark in it if we don't want to block them.
Tap "Report" at the bottom to finish.
It will say, "Thanks for your feedback". Now that person has been reported.
Pull the page down or press the home icon in the bottom left-hand corner, and we're back where we began.
This concludes the tutorial on how to block or report a vine in the Vine application on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
