Block and Unblock Someone on Kik on iPhone 6

Steps

    To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom.

    Swipe right to enter the passcode or use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone.

    Find the Kik icon which is the black speech bubble and tap it once to open up the app.

    As we can see, it takes us to this page where it shows us the different conversations and we can open a chat just by tapping on a conversation.

    We should then tap on the icon with the two overlapping circles and a plus sign at the top right-hand corner.

    Then, we have the option to tap these two vertical dots in the top right-hand corner.

    That brings up this window where we have the option to "Stop Chatting" or "Block" the person.

    If we choose to block, we will get a confirmation where it asks if we definitely want to block. If we don't want to block, then we can press "Cancel" or we can press "Block" to block.

    Now, the only option for the contact is to "Unblock" them.

    Tap "Back".

    Now we are back to the screen where we began but the blocked person will not show up on our conversations and they can't start chatting with us.

    If we want to unblock them, we can go to our Settings wheel.

    Then, go down to "Chat Settings" which is indicated by a green icon on the left-hand side.

    We can see that we have our "Block List". Tap on "Block List" and it will show every person we have blocked.

    We have only blocked one so far so we just tap on their name.

    Then the only option we have is to "Unblock" them.

    After unblocking, we are given the option to start a conversation again.

    Press "Back" until we have returned to the screen where we started.
