Once we have access to our applications, look for the Facebook icon
    .
In the example, it's kept in a separate folder. It's a little, blue square with a white letter "f" in it. Give it a tap, and it will take us to the timeline.

To block a user, we'll need to access the user's profile first
    .
To do that, tap the profile picture or on the name. In the example, we just accessed the profile of the person we're going to block.

The pop-up menu gives us the option to block a person
    .
It's the very first choice indicated in red text. Tap "Block". Before a user is blacklisted, Facebook wants us to confirm. It reminds us that "People you block can no longer tag you, invite you to events or groups, start a conversation with you, add you as a friend or see things you post on your timeline. If you're friends, blocking someone will also unfriend them".

Questions and Answers

Hello, I have a question if I may. Once you block a profile is it possible to still view their profile?

A friend told me she blocked a person but still sees the "about", "photos" and "friends" options. (she sent me a screenshot) So she doesn't have the message, follow, or add option. Does this sound normal? Cause I thought that when you block someone that person becomes invisible to you so that you can't view their profile at all, even with some options missing? This person has been harassing her and has things he could use against her so I'm worried in case she lied about blocking him, out of shame/fear-if he threatened her not to block him, and instead did something else to try to present it as if she blocked him? I really need your help about this. You showed how to block someone on iPhone while what I need is to see/know how it looks once you've blocked that profile to see if the screenshot I have is valid or not since I don't own an iPhone myself. I have tried: I've explained the situation earlier, I need some extra information. I think it was caused by: I've explained the situation earlier, I need some extra information.
