Back Up Galaxy S8 to Samsung Cloud

    On the BACKUP SETTINGS screen, toggle the switch the next to the apps you wish to backup, then tap "BACK UP NOW". You can also select "AUTO BACKUP", which will automatically backup the data for each app selected below.

    To restore your data, navigate to the Samsung CLOUD screen, and tap "Restore".

    On the RESTORE screen, first select the appropriate device by tapping the drop-down arrow under the "SELECT DEVICE" section.

    Once you've selected the correct device, toggle the switches next to the apps you want to be restored, then tap "RESTORE NOW".

    If you back up your data often, you may want to delete older backups. From the Samsung CLOUD screen, tap "Manage cloud storage".

    From MANAGE CLOUD STORAGE, tap "Device data".

    On the DEVICE DATA screen, tap "Delete" in the upper right corner. Next, select the backup by placing a checkmark next to it, then tap "DELETE" once again.

    If you need to edit your Samsung account at any time, navigate to the CLOUD AND ACCOUNTS screen, then tap "My Profile". Once on your profile screen, tap edit next to the section that needs to be updated.

Back Up S8 to a PC

    Connect your device to your computer using the appropriate USB cable. Once connected, swipe down from the top edge of the screen to access the notification panel.
