You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to associate files for the VisualBoyAdvance emulator.
On the desktop, I have a GBA game. GBA game stands for GameBoy Advanced game. Now, I want to associate this game with the VisualBoy advanced emulator.
To do this, open up the VisualBoy advanced emulator. I have an icon for this program on my desktop, but yours may be saved in another location.
When the emulator is open, click on "Options" in the menu at the top of the window.
In the drop down menu, go to "Emulator".
Then, click on "Associate".
In the popup window that appears, click once to place a tick next to ".GBA" under "GBA Type".
Once you have placed a check in the box next to ".GBA", click "OK" to close this popup window.
Please note that in order to do this, you need to be logged in as an administrator. Otherwise, you will not be able to associate the file to the emulator. Now that the file is associated, double click to open it.
You will see that the file will automatically be opened in the emulator.
