Edited by Freya, Alexander Avdeev, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how you can archive or delete an email message in the Gmail application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need unlock the phone by pressing the lock button
.
2
Alternatively, we press the home button
.
3
4
We can enter our passcode or just use the fingerprint scanner
.
5
Once we are at the home screen, we need to find and tap the Gmail icon
.
The icon is white. Tapping the icon will open up the application. As we can see, we've already logged in with one of our email accounts; so, we are taken straight to the "Primary" email list.
6
What we need to do then is to tap an email message to open it up
.
There will be some options along the top.
7
We can tap the square icon at the top to archive the email message
.
8
We can undo the last action by tapping "Undo"
.
9
Let's tap another email message
.
10
The icon is a box towards the middle of the screen. The message will be archived automatically. Gmail does not double-check with us, but we'll be given the option to undo the last action.
11
12
13
We can also delete the message by tapping the garbage can icon
.
The icon is next to the archive box. We tap the garbage can icon. Again, Gmail does not double-check with us. Thankfully, we can undo the action.
14
We can tap the "Undo" button in the bottom-right corner if we accidentally deleted the email message
.
This is a VisiHow video. We've just shown you how you can archive or delete an email message in the Gmail application on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions, comments, or queries, feel free to add them to the section below. We'll do our best to get back to you.
