You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we're going to demonstrate how to archive an email message in the Mail application using the iPhone 6s Plus.
From the home screen, tap on "Settings".
Now, scroll down to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
Tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
Tap on the email account that you are using. In this video, "Gmail" is tapped.
Make sure that "Archive Mailbox" is checked. If "Deleted Mailbox" is checked, tap on "Archive Mailbox".
Then, tap on the "Account" back arrow.
Now, press the home button.
Tap the Mail application.
Swipe left on a message. You'll see the "Archive" options for the email message.
Also, if you tap on an email message, there will be the "Archive" icon. It will be at the bottom in the center of the phone.
You can tap on "Archive" to archive the email message.
