To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top right-hand side, then swipe up

We do not have Retrica on the home screen, so we can access it through the apps menu

The icon for the apps menu is in the bottom right-hand corner in this example. It is a grey box with a set of white squares inside of it and below the icon it says "Apps". This brings us to a grid of all of the apps we've downloaded.

Swipe left and right to find the Retrica app, and tap on it once

It has a white and orange camera icon. Tapping on it one time opens the application and allows us to begin taking photos. We will see several icons above the capture button.

In order to take a photo with a vignette, we can tap on the icon that looks like a box with a white circle inside of it
.
When we tap on this, it turns dark gray and a light vignette will be applied around the outer edges of the photograph.

Take the photograph by pressing the center capture button
