Apply Motion Blur Filter to Video in Photoshop CS6

You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how you can apply a Motion Blur filter to a video clip on Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7.
As we can see, there is already a video clip imported, here. You can find out how to do that in my other video. There is a Timeline at the bottom that shows the clips. They are also shown under the "Layers" tab on the right-hand side. If we want to put a layer over the top, then we need to ensure that our layers are smart objects. I've shown you how to do this in other videos.
Select the layer that you want to apply a Motion Blur to.
Go to Filter at the top of the screen.
Hover the mouse over "Blur", and select "Motion Blur". As the name suggests, Motion Blur will show us a blurred image, as if it's moving. We can specify the angle that it's coming from, and the intensity as well.
First, go to the preview. We can drag the screen around by clicking and dragging with the hand.
We can also zoom out on the left, and zoom in on the right.
We can also type in a degree for an angle if we know what we are looking for. Just click around here, and we can watch it change on the preview.
We can also change the distance. Here, it is ten pixels. We can type a number and see what happens, or drag the bar to the left for less intensity, and to the right for more intensity.
We can then press "Cancel" if we don't want to save, or press "OK" to save the changes and apply them to the canvas. Now, when we preview the video, we'll have the Motion Blur.
If we'd like, we can hide these on the right-hand side, by clicking on the eye where it says "Smart Filters" or "Motion Blur". We can undo it by stepping back as usual.
This is a VisiHow video, and I've just shown you how to add a Motion Blur filter to a video clip on Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them to the section below. We'll do our best to get back to you.
