Apply Liquid Eyeliner

Edited by Hotelier, Amanda, Eng

Hello, and thank you for watching VisiHow. In today's tutorial, I will show you how to apply a liquid eyeliner. For this tutorial, I will be using a Make Up Forever matte black liner called Ink Liner. I like this model the best, because it has a firm brush that bends slightly just at the tip.

Steps

  1. 1
Open the eyeliner and look at the brush
    .
There is more color on the brush than just what is on the tip. When we start, we will start by applying the liner from the center of the eye, moving outward. At the very center of the eye, above the iris, we can have a thicker line than what we want for the corners.

Slightly and gently pull the skin around the eye outward
    .
This tightens the eyelid a bit.

Begin from the center of the eye, keeping as close to the lashline as possible
    .
Use small strokes, rather than one long line.

If desired, extend the line slightly past the eye in the outer corner
