   In this video, Photoshop has already been opened

   There is a video as a preview in the timeline and as a layer on the right-hand side. In the timeline, the video is being shown as purple because it has been converted into a smart object. This is something we need to do when we are applying a filter to a video clip in Photoshop. There is a VisiHow video on how to do all of that.

   Then, we go up to "Filter" and click it

   We find "Stylize" by moving the cursor onto it

   Then, we click "Find Edges"

   We'll see that the effect will do. It basically takes away the details and just focuses attention on the edges. It's almost like a contour in a lot of cases. It just happens that the video in this tutorial has quite dramatic colors, like black and white, and highlighted shadow. A quite dramatic effect has been gotten out of it. We'll see that there will be added sublayers on the right-hand side with smart filters generally.
