- 1There is a video as a preview in the timeline and as a layer on the right-hand side. In the timeline, the video is being shown as purple because it has been converted into a smart object. - 4We'll see that the effect will do. It basically takes away the details and just focuses attention on the edges. It's almost like a contour in a lot of cases. It just happens that the video in this tutorial has quite dramatic colors, like black and white, and highlighted shadow. A quite dramatic effect has been gotten out of it. We'll see that there will be added sublayers on the right-hand side with smart filters generally.Then, we click "Find Edges".
