Hello, and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, I will show you how to apply a filter to a photograph in Snapseed photo editor on the LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side button, and swiping up one time, to get to the home screen
.
2
We do have the Snapseed icon on the home screen
.
It looks like a leaf in front of a small card. If we didn't have it loaded here, we could access it through our Apps menu.
3
The Apps menu is on the bottom right-hand side
.
It looks like a gray box with a bunch of white squares inside of it. For now, we can open it directly from the home screen by tapping on the icon once. It will take us to the home page of this application.
4
We can see, at the bottom, there is a small white icon of a mobile phone, and below it, are the words, "Open Photo"
.
We can tap on this icon one time to view our photo gallery.
5
Scroll through the photo gallery until we find the photo that we'd like to apply a filter to
.
Select it by tapping on it one time. It will open up in the editing software.
6
From here, we can go into the different tools and filters by pressing on the bottom right-hand side icon of a pencil
.
7
Scroll down past "TOOLS" to reach "FILTERS"
.
In each one of these filters, there are different options that we can use.
8
Choose "HDR Scape", by tapping on it one time. It's the second one on the right-hand side.
9
First, we can adjust "Filter Strength"
.
We can change the strength of the filter. Slide to the right to increase the strength.
10
Slide to the left to decrease the strength
.
There is quite a large difference. Adjust until we are satisfied.
11
To save the changes, tap on the check mark in the bottom right-hand side
.
12
Once again, we can go into our edit options, and scroll down to "FILTERS"
.
13
Now, we can choose another one
.
Let's select "Tonal Contrast". Tap on it once to open it.
14
Here, we can do the same thing we did with the last one
.
To increase the effect, slide to the right; to decrease, slide to the left. When we are finished, press the check mark again to save our changes.
15
Let's go once again, back to our edit options, and scroll down to the "FILTERS" section
.
16
Now, let's choose "Vintage"
.
Once we select it, we can increase and decrease the brightness.
17
We can also select this icon that looks like a small set of cards
.
When we select that icon, we get additional options.
18
Here, we can change the color base
.
Not all of them allow this option. This allows us to apply a color filter to the photograph. We can choose one that we're happy with, or choose none at all.
19
When we're happy, tap on the down arrow to minimize the bar with these options
.
20
When we are finished, save our changes by tapping on the check mark
.
21
That does conclude our presentation today on how to apply a filter to your photograph in Snapseed photo editor on your LG L70
.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions; please leave them in the space below.
