Apply False Eyelashes for Beginners
Edited by MsBarbs, Eng, Doug Collins
Hi, you are watching VisiHow. My name is Kara. Today, in this video, I'm going to show you how to apply fake eyelashes. I am using the least expensive ones. These normally come with a little package of glue, which sits behind the package.
Steps
1
Let's begin with the left eye
.
After detaching the eyelash from the packaging, you need to apply the glue along the length of the eyelash. Make sure you did not miss a spot. If you do miss a spot the eyelash will not be adhered to the skin in that area.
2
To apply the eyelash you need a set of tweezers
.
What you are going to want to do is hold the eyelash in the center with the tweezers in the position you want to attach them.
3
The center of the eyelash should be attached to the center area above your natural eyelashes
.
4
Carefully push the other areas near your eyelash line
.
You will also need to hold it so that the glue will adhere. Usually, the cheaper the eyelashes are the more problems you are going to have getting them to attach. When you buy the more expensive eyelashes you most likely will not have this problem. You could also buy a good lash glue separately.
5
This did not sit well, so I need to pull it off a little and reattach it
.
When you apply false eyelashes, you need to have already applied black eyeliner. This will help to smooth out the lash line so that it will not look too fake.
6
Let's do the same thing with the right eye
.
Apply the glue to the length of the lash. Again, make sure you do not miss a spot as the eyelashes may come off.
7
Take a hold of the eyelash with the tweezers in the center
.
8
The spot where the tweezers are holding should be affixed to the center part of my own eye directly above my natural eyelashes
.
Push it in and hold so that the glue will have time to adhere. Push in the inner corner as well and hold it so that the glue will have time to work.
9
Can you tell the difference now
?
10
It came off again, this often happens with cheaper eyelash brands
.
The lash line is too thick, and the glue has not dried all the way. I started blinking which caused the inner corner to pop off.
11
I need to be more patient
.
Let me close my eye and push it in and hold it so that it doesn't come off again. You can use your fingers as well.
12
These are feather style lashes
.
If I close my eyes you will be able to see. Let's check to see if it is dried fully. Okay we are done with the eyelashes.Thank you for watching VisiHow, my name is Kara.
