One of the best features of PowerPoint 2010 edition is the option to make and save a video. You no longer need to convert the PPT file to any video format like you did with the 2007 edition. You can create a kinetic typography that Adobe After Effects does in a simple and amateur-friendly way. We know that After Effects can be a pain if you are a beginner in video editing, and PowerPoint will actually give you the best text based animation with stunning effects. You will not have to study any complicated key frames because PowerPoint has preset effect and animations, but expect it to be a bit limited compared to the functions After Effects offered. Still, I can assure you that you will be able to create professional text based presentations that are better than any others created with free video editing software. So let's get started.

   Download PowerPoint 2010

   If you have a 2007 Microsoft office edition, you need to update or download the 2010 edition. You can purchase it directly from the Microsoft website and activate it, using the key activator given to you after you purchase the Microsoft office 2010 edition.

   Open your PowerPoint

   Open and start a new blank document. You can also choose different templates you want.

   Add your own background

   If you want to add your own background and you don't want to use any boring and solid background, you can import it easily by right clicking on your blank document, then clicking on Format Background > Fill, then click the circle next to "Picture or texture fill" and browse to choose your background image.    Write text on your blank document

   Write your text on your blank document so that you can begin to apply your animations and transitions. I recommend using the Bebas font, as it's free and is ideal for text based presentations.

   Add your animations

   .

   Animating your text is easy and it takes only a single click. There are plenty of animations for you to choose from. See the screenshots below:

   Add another text animation layer

   .

   If you want a dynamic text animation, you can add another animation to avoid a non-moving or static text. Look at the screenshots below.

   Add a text duration and delay

   .

   This can be used to set the duration or delay the movement of your text animation. If you want longer movements, then setting your time duration will work. But if you want a fast moving text, then lower your duration. File:utryh.jpg

   Save your project to a video file

   .

   This is your final step, and exporting your PowerPoint presentation to a video file is easier than ever. Go to File > Save and Send > Create video. It will allow you to save your presentation to wmv file.
