    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone
    .
    Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up
    .
    Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and it is here that we need to find the Facebook icon.

    Tap on the Facebook tile

    There is a blue tile background, and in the bottom right-hand corner of the tile, there is a white square with a blue "f" inside.

    We now need to tap the menu icon in the top right-hand corner
    .
    There are three gray horizontal lines.

    Tap on "Settings"

    This will open up the settings menu.

    Press down on the option labeled, "Connect with my phone"
    .
    Underneath it says "On" in blue, indicating that this option is currently on. This page will say "Connect Facebook to see updates and info all around your phone - in the People Hub, your calendar, and your photos app. Don't worry - we won't post anything to Facebook unless you tell us to." Currently, our phone is connected to our Facebook account. That means that we can see photos in the People Hub, see photos on the lock screen, we receive notifications, and there's a lot of interaction.

    Tap on the blue icon to turn this option off and disconnect the phone with Facebook
    .
    Nothing will be shared and there will be no connection. We can still visit Facebook, but none of the Facebook information will connect with our phone. Once we press down on it, the switch will be white and it will say "Off" to the right of it.

    To turn it back on, press down on the icon until it is blue and says "On"
    .
    That means that our Facebook account has been reconnected with our phone.
