   To get started, press the home button at the bottom of your phone

   One press on the home button will open you up to the lock screen.

   Swipe to unlock the phone

   Look for the silver gear-shaped icon called Settings

   This will open up all of our different options on the phone

   We're going to scroll down to the Display and Brightness option. It's a blue icon with aA. Tap that.

   Now you can see we have the Auto-Brightness option on, and our brightness is set to the middle

   We can simply slide the little circle to brighten up the screen
