Steps

We start off by unlocking the screen

To unlock it, we have to press the Lock button on the right side of the phone.

We swipe the screen down

Once the screen is unlocked, we need to locate the emulator

In this case, it's in the "Emulators" folder; so the folder is tapped.

We tap the SuperRetro 16 emulator

Then, we wait for it to load.

Once it's loaded, we need to tap the wrench icon on the upper-right side of the screen

In the "Settings" menu, we need to tap "Video"

A new menu will open.

We can tap "Software" to select the renderer mode as either "Software" or "OpenGL"

Let's tap "OpenGL" to select it

We wait for the renderer to load. We can now select the shader. For example, it is now set to "--Default--".

If we tap "--Default--", we can choose from other existing shaders

For example, we can tap "Super HQ3X"

We can also change the blending mode by tapping "Smooth" or "Sharp"

We can revert back to the software renderer mode by tapping "OpenGL"

Then, we can additionally tap the "Hardware Acceleration" mode

We can set all of those video settings according to our preferences by experimenting a little bit. We can try both of the rendering methods and keep the ones that we like the most.

To save the changes in "Video", we need to tap the Back button in the lower-left corner of the phone
