   To begin, we're going to unlock the telephone by pressing the small button on the upper right side

   From the home screen, one way that we can adjust the screen brightness is by selecting the "Apps" icon one time

   It's in the bottom corner. It's the gray square with a bunch of white squares inside of it. This opens our applications.

   From our applications, we can scroll through them until we find the gear-shaped icon called "Settings"

   A quicker way to access the settings menu from the home screen is by sliding down one time from the top
