You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to explain how to adjust in-app notifications for Gmail on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, the phone needs to be unlocked
.
This can be done by pressing the lock or home button.
2
3
Enter your passcode or use the fingerprint scanner
.
4
Find the Gmail icon, which is this one here with the envelope
.
Tap on it once. We'll see when it's opened up that it already has access to an email address so it's taken us to our primary email list. Refer to another video where it is explained how to connect an email with the Gmail application.
5
Tap on the three horizontal lines in the upper left-hand corner of the screen
.
6
Tap on the gear icon in the new window that has opened from the left-hand side of the screen
.
7
Adjust the notification settings which are located in the "Notifications" area
.
We can choose from "All New Mail", "Primary Only", or "None". The blue check mark moves to the selected option.
8
Once the correct one is selected, tap on the "Save" button
.
9
This is a VisiHow video and I've just shown explained how to adjust in-app notifications for Gmail on the iPhone 6
.
