Edited by Grimm, Jentruh, Eng, Inukshuk
Hi, you are watching VisiHow. Today we are going to show you how to increase or decrease the text size in your messaging applications on the Samsung Galaxy S5 or S5 mini.
Steps
1
To start with, let's open the message application
.
You'll want to be on your home screen, which is accomplished by pressing the home button at the bottom of your phone.
2
Once you've pressed the home button, you'll go to your messages application by tapping the icon near the bottom
.
3
Then you can tap the new message icon in the top right corner which will allow you to compose a message
.
4
You can select from your recipients, or you can simply start typing
.
It doesn't matter where you start with this. What you have to do is press the "Volume up" button at the top of the left side of your phone.
5
As you can see, the text size is increasing
.
6
And you press the "Volume down" and the text size decreases
.
7
This also works for reading messages, so let's just write in "OK Test VisiHow"
.
Now what I will do is press the volume up button 6 times.
8
So 6 times up gives me my maximum size text, and 6 times down puts me back at the smallest text
.
9
That is how you set up or increase the text size of your messages when using the message application in your Samsung Galaxy S5 or S5 Mini
.
Since we're not going to use this message, we can simply go back and discard this message.
10
So that is how you increase and decrease the size of the text of your messages when sending them with the default SMS messaging application
.
Thank you for using VisiHow.
