Press the power button to turn the phone on

Swipe the lock screen up to reveal the home screen

Press the "Lumia Camera" tile to open the camera
.
The tile has a purple background with a white camera in the middle. If the "Lumia Camera" application is not pinned to the home screen, then swipe left and open it from the applications menu.

Press the "WB" button to adjust the white balance of this image
.
The "WB" button is located in the square shaped menu in the middle of the screen. The white balance compensates for too much or too little light in an image.

If the square shaped menu is not visible for you, your camera may be in automatic mode; press the small arrow to open the square shaped menu

Press on "WB" once the square menu is visible to open white balance

A small circle with dots will be visible at the bottom of the screen, the dots can be pressed on to change the amount of white balance

The option to the far left is automatic - this means that the camera will adjust the white balance for you.

This option can be used for a cloudy day. You can press the camera button at the bottom of the screen to take a picture.
