Adjust Camera Shutter Speed on Microsoft Lumia 535
Edited by Thor, Rushell, Eng
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to adjust the shutter speed on the Lumia Camera application on a Microsoft Lumia 535.
- 6The words "shutter speed" will appear on the screen along with semicircle or arc at the bottom of the screen where the shutter speed can be adjusted. Adjusting to a slower shutter speed will provide more time for light to enter the camera. Having a lower shutter speed helps with taking photos of light trails, such as when photographing traffic. However, when using a low shutter speed a tripod is often necessary to keep the camera very still. Any movement will affect the quality of the photo. Since the camera shutter is open for a longer period of time, any movement would distort the image.
- 10Placing the small circle on top of the word "auto" over on the left side of the arc will allow the shutter speed to adjust automatically. We will demonstrate the difference between a faster and a slower shutter speed. The slower the shutter speed, the more time light enters. This is how light trails are captured.
- 17To really understand this concept experiment with different shutter speeds and take a few photos on your own. Try different shutter speeds in different situations, with movement as well, and see the results. Then please share them with us in the comment section below. We'd love to see them. This concludes our tutorial on how to adjust the shutter speed on the Lumia Camera of a Microsoft Lumia 535. If you have any questions or comments regarding this video or about the application itself, then please leave them in the comment section below, and we shall answer them for you. Thank you for watching VisiHow. Goodbye.
