    To start with, what we are going to need to do is go down to the APPS Icon on the bottom right side of your phone

    Look for settings (gear-shaped icon)

    That is going to open your settings options, under quick settings look for DISPLAY icon

    What we are looking for first, is to turn off auto adjust screen tone
    .
    The only reason you want to have this on is if you are trying to save your battery. In our case, we are shooting "How To" video. So we actually want this to be brighter.

    So the second thing we are going to do is go to brightness, tap it once

    We do not want automatic brightness so we can uncheck that

    As you can see my screen just got darker
    .
    So we are going to slide this over to make the screen as bright as it possible can be. We are going to select OK.

    Now we have a bright screen and it will stay bright no matter what we do, which is exactly what we want, especially for shooting Tutorials and How To video's

    Now what we can do is press the home button to go back to our home screen.

    You will see that our screen is now nice and bright

    This is how you adjust the brightness of your screen on your Samsung Galaxy S5 mini or other Android phones. Once again tap on the Apps button. Go to settings. Then tap on display. Once you have display open, you will simple adjust the brightness to your desired setting. Tap OK to approve it. Then you will scroll down and you can auto adjust the screen tone On, or Off, it is your option.
