   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand button

   Next, swipe up one time to open up the home screen

   .

   From the home screen, we need to locate all of the contacts. We will see the contacts on my home screen. It's a brown folder with a profile of a person.

   If the contacts aren't visible in the home screen, we can access them from "Apps", which is on the bottom right-hand side

   It is a gray square with a set of white boxes inside it. Tap that once to open up all the applications.

   Scroll through both left and right until we find the icon for Contacts

   Press the icon once to open up a list of all of our contacts. Here we can make a phone call, see our last calls, view our contacts, view our favorite contacts and also some groups of contacts.

   To add someone to "Favorites", we can do that by locating the contact from the "Contacts" section

   We need to make sure that "Contacts" is highlighted at the top.

   We can then search for the person

   Press and hold over their name once we've found the contact

   It will vibrate slightly, and a pop-up menu will appear allowing us to edit, delete, forward the contact, add the to the home screen or add them to our list of favorites.

   We would like to add this person

   .

   We are going to tap "Add to Favorites" at the bottom. It will say, in the middle, "Added to favorites".

   Once we select the "Favorites" tab at the top, we can see that the contact has been added to our list of favorites

    To remove this person, press and hold on the name again and a pop-up menu will appear again

    The second option on the menu is "Remove from favorites"

    Press that one time to remove that contact from our list of favorite contacts.
