Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to add and remove a location to and from a tweet on Twitter using an HTC One M8.

To begin, turn the phone On by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen; to unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen and at the bottom, we will see these icons here

It is one of these icons that we now need to access as we need to open up the applications folder.

To open up the applications folder, we need to press this icon which is located at the bottom center of the screen

The icon is a grid made up of white dots. Press down on this icon and it will open up the applications folder.

In this folder, we now need to find the Twitter application

Mine is located here. We can see that there is the Twitter icon which is a blue background with a white bird on top and underneath, it says the word "Twitter". Your Twitter application may be in a different position in this folder. Therefore, you will have to find it and press down on it to enter the application.

Press this icon located at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen

The icon is a gray quill inside a gray box. What we want to do in this video is show you how to add and remove a location to and from a tweet. In order to do that, we first need to make a new tweet and pressing down on this icon allows us to do that.

Press this icon located in the bottom left-hand corner

The icon is a gray pin (the kind of pin we would see on a digital map). Pressing this icon will show us some location options.

You may see multiple options on this screen depending on your location.

We need to select one of these options by pressing down on them; we will press down on "Georgia" in this case"

Now we can see that it says the word "Georgia" here and it also has a little pin icon next to it

When we send this tweet, it is going to have our location with it. People will who see this tweet will see the location also.

If we want to remove the location from a tweet, just press down on the pin icon again

The pin icon has turned blue after we added the location.

Press the "X" icon next to the location that we want to remove
