Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show how to add and remove articles from the Bookmarks section of the Play Newsstand application on an HTC One M8.

Steps

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen. At the bottom, we will see icons, including the icon for the applications folder.

Press the icon at the bottom center of the home screen to open the applications folder

It looks like a grid made up of white dots.

Find the Play Newsstand icon and press it

Ours is located near the bottom left. The icon is a blue piece of paper labeled "Play Newsstand". The Play Newsstand application may be in any position in this folder. In this video tutorial, we want to show how to add and remove articles from the Bookmarks section.

Press the icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen

This will bring up a menu.

Press "Read now"

It doesn't matter which section we're browsing, such as "NEWS" or "BUSINESS" or "ENTERTAINMENT". We just need any article to use as an example.

Press down on an article to open it

Swipe down on the screen

This brings down a green menu bar.

Press the middle icon on the green bar

Swipe down on the screen to see the green bar

We can confirm that this article has been bookmarked this way, because the bookmark icon has changed. The icon is now white with a checkmark inside.

To remove this article from the Bookmarks section, press the bookmark icon again

The gray bar will confirm "Removed from bookmarks" and the icon will return to a shape with a white plus sign
