To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the Lock screen

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

We now need to open up the Settings menu

To do that, we need to swipe the Notification panel down. Start right at the top of the screen and swipe downwards.

We are looking for the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen

We can see that there is a white cog, and it's our Settings icon.

Press down on it, and it will open up our "Settings" menu

Let's scroll down until we get to the "PERSONAL" section

In this section, we're looking for the option that says, "Accounts & sync"

Press down on this option, and it will bring up all of the accounts that we currently have synced to our HTC One M8

What we want to do now is to add an Instagram account

To do that, we need the icon at the top of the screen in the black section. We can see that there is a white "+" sign.

Press down on that icon to bring up the ability to add accounts

We want to choose the option where it says "Instagram for HTC Sense"

Next to these words there is the "Instagram" camera icon.

Press down on this section, and that will allow us to log in

What we need to do if we want to sync our Instagram account with our HTC One M8 is to authorize this option

If we "Cancel" it, we won't be able to sync them. Therefore, press down on the green box that says "Authorize" in order to sync the Instagram account with the HTC One M8.
