Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to add a web page from Google Chrome to the home screen of an HTC One M8.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone. Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.
To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards. Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen and multiple icons at the bottom.
Tap the icon that looks like a grid of white dots, that is located at the bottom of the screen in the middle.
Find the Google Chrome application, and tap on it once to open the application. The Google Chrome icon looks like a big circle made up of different colors and has the word "Chrome" underneath it. Your Google Chrome application may be in a different position in this folder; therefore you will need to find it.
First, find a web page for yourself by either tapping on one or typing in a webpage at the top. In this example, we already have "www.msn.com" loaded. In this tutorial, we want to show you how to add a web page from this application to the home screen of an HTC One M8.
Tap on the three vertical black dots icon in the top-right corner. This will open up a menu.
Tap on "Add to Home Screen".
In the new window, tap on the box underneath "Title" to edit and change the title. The keypad will appear, and we can delete it and type in a new title.
Once we're done editing the title, we will tap on "Add" in the bottom-right corner of the window. As we can see, the website "www.msn.com" has been added to the home screen, and now we can access it very easily.
To easily access the website from the home screen, tap on the icon. This will open up the web page. This is a very useful function and is a very useful feature on the HTC One M8.
This concludes our tutorial on how to add a web page from Google Chrome to the home screen of an HTC One M8. If you have any questions or comments regarding this video or the process you have witnessed in this video, please leave them in the comment section below, and we shall answer them for you.
