Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to add a radio station to the Favorites section of the FM radio application on an HTC One M8.

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the Lock screen

To unlock the phone swipe the screen upwards.

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the Home screen

At the bottom we will see some icons.

This is the area we need to focus on now because we need to open up the Applications folder

To do that we need the icon located in the middle at the bottom of the Home screen. We can see that there is a grid made of white dots. This is the icon for the Applications folder.

Press down on it, and the folder will open

We now need to find a folder within this folder

This folder is called the "Media" folder. We can see that it is located on our "Apps" screen. There is an icon with a black background, and in the middle, there are some other icons. It also says the word "Media" underneath.

Press down on this icon, and it will open up the "Media" folder

In this folder we are looking for the icon of a radio, and underneath it says "FM Radio".

Press down on that, and it will allow us to open the "FM Radio" application

In order to use this radio application, we must have the headset plugged in. The headset should have come with the HTC One M8. This will be the white headphones, so make sure they're plugged in.

Then we have to press the Play button located at the bottom of the screen

Press down on that, and it starts playing

We need to make sure it's turned on in order to access it and use it. What we want to do in this video is to show how to add a radio station to the Favorites section. The Favorites section is just a place to keep all of our favorite radio stations, so we can find them easily. We can also customize them.

To do that, we need to press down on the Heart icon

There are two ways to add a station to Favorites. The first is by using the Heart in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. We can see it is currently gray.

If we press down on it, it's going to turn red

That means we've added this to the Favorites section. It means we love this radio station.

We're going to press down on it again just to get rid of it

The second way to do this is to go to the icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen

We can see that there is a white arrow.

Now, we have a list of all our local stations. In this example, we already have one radio station that we've made a Favorite, that we love.

Let's make another one

We can just choose one at random, "95.1" FM.

That's going to take us to that station, and it's also going to show that we love this radio station.

Now, we have this option. At the top, where it says "Local Stations", there is a little arrow next to it indicating a drop down menu.
