Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to add a profile photo to a Twitter account using the Twitter application on the HTC One M8.

Steps

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone
.
Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen and multiple icons at the bottom. It is one of these icons that we will access to open up the applications folder.

Tap the icon that looks like a grid of white dots, that is located at the bottom of the screen in the middle to open the applications folder

Find the Twitter application, and tap on it once to open the application
.
The Twitter application has a blue background with a white bird on it, with the word "Twitter" underneath it. Your Twitter application may be in a different position in this folder, therefore you will need to find it.

Now, we will tap on the three vertical dots icon located in the top-right corner of the screen

This will open up a small menu.

Tap on our Twitter name, which is the first option

It is indicated by a grey box with an egg inside of it, which is where our profile photo should be.

Tap on the photo located above our name

Tap on the button at the bottom that says "Edit"

Tap on the photo again

This will give us the options "Take a photo" and "Choose existing photo". This means we can take a selfie, or choose an existing photo.

In this example, we'll tap on "Choose existing photo"

This will take us to a list of all of our photos.

Find a photo we'd like to use, and tap on it once to choose it

Once we're finished, we'll tap on "Save" located in the blue bar at the top-right corner of the screen

As we can see, it has saved and we've now successfully added a profile photo.
