You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to explain how to add a photo attachment to an email in Gmail on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, the phone needs to be unlocked
.
This can be done by pressing the lock or home button.
2
3
Enter your passcode or use the fingerprint scanner
.
4
Find the Gmail icon which is this one here with the envelope inside
.
Tap once to open it. We'll see when it's opened up that it already has access to an email address so it's taken us to our primary email list. Refer to another video where it is explained how to connect an email with the Gmail application.
5
Compose a new email by pressing on the red button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
.
6
Tap on the paper clip on the right-hand side
.
We won't be learning how to add any other information since this was explained in another video.
7
8
We can see that it needs access to the photos, so what we'll do from here is tap on the home button
.
9
Find the "Settings" icon and tap once to open it
.
10
Scroll down to and tap on it "Privacy." It's located in the third section
.
11
12
Find Gmail and tap on the toggle switch next to it to turn it green, which means that it's been turned on
.
13
Press the home button to return to the phone
.
14
Find the Gmail icon which is this one here with the envelope inside
.
15
Compose a new email by pressing on the red button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
.
16
Tap on the paper clip on the right-hand side
.
We won't be learning how to add any other information since this was explained in another video.
17
18
Browse through the images and select an image to attach
.
19
If this is the right image, select "Use."
20
If this is not the right image, select "Back" and choose the correct image
.
21
22
23
It is now uploaded and attached
.
The email will not be able to send the email until it has uploaded and attached.
24
Once all other information has been entered, press the blue arrow in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to send the email
.
