You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to use your web browser on a Windows 8 computer to add a new folder to your Dropbox account.

- 3Look to the left of the search bar. We are looking for the folder icon with a plus sign on it. When we mouse over it, it says "New folder". In order to create a new folder on our Dropbox account using our web browser on Windows 8, we need to click once on the new folder icon. We will see a new folder added to our window.Move the cursor to the top right side of the window.

- 6Above the "Active" folder, we have a row of options, including "Download", "Delete", "Rename", "Move...", "Copy..." and "Create album". We will discuss each of these items in another tutorial. For now, the important thing is that we have created a folder that we can use across multiple computers using Dropbox.Note the confirmation message at the top of the screen, "Created folder 'Active'".
